I'm in the exact same situation... It's really hard, because he's really nice to me, and sometimes he says things that keep me up at night thinking; What did he mean by that??

All i know is that it's okay to be in love. Even with your brother's best friend. If you really want to- tell him! But don't be too forceful over dramatic. If he doesn't feel the same, hopefully he'll be flattered/understanding and let you down gently.

Besides from telling him- you could just try to make him see how brilliant you are! Be yourself- try flirting. (but don't go OTT) Don't try to be someone else: if he's worth having, he'll love you for who you truly are.
