American citizenship cannot be conveyed via marriage. The Canadian can apply for naturalization. American citizenship cannot be conveyed via marriage. The Canadian can apply for naturalization.
Your partner will need to get Canadian citizenship. Since you already live in Canada, then it will not be a problem for you.Ê
You need to get married to a Canadian citizen or apply for a Canadian Visa to get the citizenship of Canada.
No. If your baby is born outside of Canada you need to apply for them to have Canadian citizenship. A child's citizenship is automatically determined based on where they are born.
Marrying a Canadian citizenship does not automatically make you a Canadian citizen. You would still have to go through the entire process that an unmarried "Alien" would have to go through. That is, apply and obtain Permanent Residency (PR) and then go through the Citizenship Application. Ref: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/faq/citizenship/cit-become-faq03.asp
By land or sea, the Citizenship card will be fine. By air, you will need a valid passport, but if you hold dual citizenship (one of which is Canadian), you can use the other country's passport to fly BUT you will need to present your Canadian citizenship card at the check-in counter AND at Canadian immigration to demonstrate you don't need a Canadian visa for entry. Americans can live in Canada if they apply for permanent residence. They do not, however, need to "give up" their citizenship and may apply for a dual citizenship. They will have both a Canadian and their American citizenships.

Yes, if you are a Canadian citizen, you can enter Canada even if you do not have your citizenship card with you. However, you will need to provide proof of your citizenship, such as a valid Canadian passport or another acceptable form of identification that confirms your citizenship. It's advisable to carry proper identification when traveling to avoid complications at the border.
yes
Not according to this. http://kenya.rcbowen.com/constitution/chap6.html#91 According to the precise wording used here, a WOMAN marrying a Kenyan is entitled to apply for citizenship. With the lack of wording that a man marrying a Kenyan is also entitled to apply, I would have to say that either you wouldn't be or else applications are approved on a case by case basis. I would consult the Kenyan embassy for clarification.
Be sure you have looked into the American Government system before you make any long term plans. It is falling apart. Also the health care system here is pathetic. How can I become a Canadian citizen? * haha the previous poster is right .. America isn't what it used to be (thanks to our current "leaders"). That said, it is very difficult to become an American citizen. Unless you have immediate family who are American citizens, or are a highly skilled/college educated person, it can be next to and including, impossible. Good luck! * No editorializing on this one. Just as any other immigrant to the United States, a Canadian can take out American citizenship after living in the U.S. without a criminal record for five years and passing a test in American civics and history. Recently Pam Anderson did, so the U.S. is not really all that picky. (Oops, I forgot about the no editorializing!) Also, as a Canadian, I'd like to say that you are welcome to move into my basement. We'll see what happens in November, but 4 more years of a Republican executive might mean that I need to buy a bigger house ;-)
