As far as I know it's known as a male harem. Chinese Empress Wu Zetian (7th Cen. A.D.) was famous for having one.
Harem
No, a group of horses is commonly referred to as a herd. A harem typically refers to a group of animals, usually female, kept by a male for breeding purposes, but it is not commonly used to describe a group of horses.
A group of seals are called a "rookery",a "herd", a "harem", and a "pod"
A group of seals is called harem. It can also be referred as a herd, pod, or rookery of seals.
The word Harem is Hebrew for forbidden, so the word is not specifying man or woman. It was however used to describe the quarters of women as being Harem or forbidden. The men who had women as slaves, servants, and wives owned them as property so they were also considered Harem property. If you are talking about the collective noun for men and women the word for a group of women is a "gaggle" of women. For men it is a "band" of men.
The harem keeper is the Sultan. In this regard he could be considered the head of the harem. The harem guards are eunuchs. An odalisque is a harem slave.
Harem
If you are referring to a group of sultan's wives, it is a harem.
Probably a harem, although that term really means the part of the house set aside for the use of the women.
There is no antonym for harem, but for anime and manga genres there is a genre called "reverse harem" where a girl is surrounded and/or wanted by multiple men.
Depending on where you originate, the term can be varied.Pod or colony seems to be the most common, but....Crash, Harem, Herd, rookery, spring and also team are used.a group of seals is called a "Pod"
