In my opinion he was probably just walking past and had to get by you. Some people are more touchy-feely than others,and touching random strangers in passing is no big deal.

When I go out somewhere crowded or even only slightly, I will touch people's backs and shoulders as I navigate through. I just don't mind touching people. :)
