If she entered the US illegaly (snuck in) she will not be able to become legal without leaving. Once she leaves the 10 year bar will be triggered, meaning she will not be able to come back for 10 years. In order for her to come back, her US citizen husband would need to apply for a waiver of the 10 year bar. He would have to prove that it would be an exreme hardship for him to move to her country. It is difficult to get this waiver.
She would not be able to become a US citizen until 3 years after receiving her permanent residence. You can find a lot of information about the waiver that the husband would need to file to overcome the 10 year bar at http://immigrate2us.net The waiver is called the I-601
Aliens do not exist, and thus, they cannot marry any US citizen.
The answer is unequivocally yes. legal status or alien status bears no effect on a citizen's ability to marry an individual from any other country.
I think so and if you can I'd marry EMINEM
marry an alien...............u die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know for sure, but I think that it's harder and takes longer than if he/she married an actual US citizen.
No. Only if you marry him, he will become a citizen.
Your boyfriend can not adopt your child while he also remains yours. It does not matter if he is a US citizen, legal alien or illegal alien. For him to do that he would need to marry you. The license would cost $35.00 and you would each need a picture ID.
Yes, regardless of the alien's status. He can adjust his status and apply for citizenship once he or she marries a U.S. citizen.
Is the Canadian citizen also an American citizen or holds citizenship. if so then yes if not then. Technically no. This is because neither party holds a current American citizenship. If the Illegal alien was to marry upon Canadian territory then apply for american citizenship or Visa. But other wise legally no. However they should check.
No, if you apply an Alien Relative I-129 form and/or I-485 form then you are on your way to becoming a Legal Resident at least 3 years before applying for I-405
Legal status is NOT a requirement to receive a marriage license. You can marry a citizen, resident alien, or illegal alien- it doesn't matter (as long as the other person is of the opposite sex).
Yes, a US citizen can marry an illegal alien whose Visa has expired in San Francisco. The illegal will still have to renew their Visa to stay in the US.
