There are a few things that can cause female vaginal pain, and one or more may apply.

First, you must be certain that there is no anatomical error, that insertion of the penis is following the proper path. Secondly, there must be enough lubrication of the walls, either naturally through arousal or artifically using lubricants. (Condoms are particularly subject to dryness, but must not use petroleum jelly.) Finally, it is possible that some vaginal injury or disease is causing the problem, and this should be referred promptly to a physician.
