Well, if she's in any of your classes, try and sit next to her. Not obviously or anything, just make your group of friends sit next to hers. Then, when the teachers later or something have a little moan to her. This can start you off in the talking area.
But if she isn't in ANY of your classes, try and get one of your more confident mates to go and talk with one of her mates, preferably her best friend. By going over with your mate as an excuse, you can chill a bit. And if they both like each over ask him to ask her group to hang out with you at lunch. Then start talking. Talk about what weird things your teacher did or tell a joke. Or, if she's smarter than you ask her to help you with your homework due tomorrow (she'll never know). Then you have a chance to compliment her and talk even more. Just relax And it will come naturally.
