Is Gods Love is unconditional

It depends upon the situation and the religion that you are speaking of. In Christianity, yes God's love is unconditional and is very forgiving if you are genuinely sorry for your sins. However, merely asking God's forgiveness isn't enough.

Unconditional means there are no conditions on God's love toward us. God doesn't only love us if we are good or if we give money to the poor etc God loves us when we are entirely unworthy.

A good example is in John chapter 3 verse 16:

John 3:16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.

Another example:


Ephesians 2:4 But God's mercy is so abundant, and his love for us is so great,
Ephesians 2:5 that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience he brought us to life with Christ. It is by God's grace that you have been saved.
