Life is probably simpler being straight. Less prejudice to deal with.

But since a person hasn't got much choice wrt sexual orientation - you are what you are - Words like "good" or "bad" aren't particularly useful.

When i read this question i will admit it made me smile. To me, yes, being straight is good, cause its less the aids. But i cant really talk much, im Bi, and i couldn't be fully gay cause i love men and woman to death. But since ive been with my fiance, i havent been much around girls as much. (Only Friends) amazing how one person can change your life! Its a free country, you do what you want. I chose to stay with the one who loves me the most =]

It depends on whether or not you're straight, doesn't it? If you're straight, then being straight is a good thing. If you're gay, then trying to be straight is a bad thing. Be who you are.
