If she is near you and flirting or making small talk with your friend then there is a possibility she does like him more. You have to make the decision as to whether to believe her or not. Sixth grade is young for dating and both of you will have many more dates with other people as you mature.

It's not bad but you can't just decide your going to have a girlfriend in 7th grade. When you start to have a girlfriend make sure your ready to have one. It may be good to experiment but a seventh grade girlfriend is most likely an "in-school" girlfriend. No like dinner dates.
