The answer, as Chris Rock might put it, is "not really". If your current beau says she tolerates this, she is being accomodating, but not sincere. Arousing jealousy in a current partner does not promote trust. If you completely trust your fiance then yes because going into marriage means alot of commitment and putting alot of trust into your partnership. I am sure if you really know you love him, it should be alright. I am sure if your fiance wants to just talk and I mean just talk to his ex-girlfriend for anything. He probably is just a really sweet typical guy who just would like to know how everything is going with her. Maybe his the type of guy who's been a loyal friend to her all her life. Maybe his ex- girlfriend never really had it good as you do with him or anything.

It's not a good idea even if you knew about her. That was then and this is now. He's with you, not her, and he should separate his life from hers. On rare occasions if someone like your boyfriend was up front about it, and his ex fiance and him are just friends, then there would be nothing wrong if both of you agreed to have her over for dinner, but nothing else! When I left my ex husband I was still very close friends with his 2 brothers, their wives and his younger sister, but once I married my second husband I phoned them and explained how I felt. It was time for me to move on and not fair to my husband to visit with my ex's family. They seemed to understand and all turned out well. I suggest you sit down and communicate your feelings with your boyfriend and tell him you don't like it. He may well deny it, but look him right in the eye and tell him "You know what I'm talking about ... stop it now or I'm leaving!" No - he has no reason to be associating with an ex. He needs to politely ask her not to bother you both anymore.
