Is it possible to really love someone even though you have never even talked to that person?

To truly love someone you must know them as you would have nothing to base your love on. ANSWER I believe that you can fall IN LOVE with someone that you don't know very well. Many times it can be infatuation but there are times when there is just a very strong connection present with that person and you may feel that you have known them for a long time when you really haven't. You connect on an emotional level where you can almost communicate with each other without actually communicating. It may not make sense to you but it can be love. I think in order to stay in love or to continue to love that person you need time with them to get to know them really well.

that isn't true at all. it is 100% possible to fall in love with someone who you have never met. as i already am. if you feel like your in love with someone you know or have never met its still there, the feelings i mean. it doesn't matter if you have never met them, if you have those feeling then there real. its that simple.

It's sounds more like physical attraction. Love is earned. Physical attraction comes first, you date, then you get to know each other and that's when you usually fall in love. If you are truly interested in this person ask them out. Nothing terrible is going to happen and it won't be the first or last time you will hear the word "no" in your lifetime. Yes, it is definitely possible. If you communicate with them for enough time, like online, you might know enough about his/her personality to like/love them. It happened to me although we gave it a 2 and a half year shot. We were and still are in love today. Communication is good way to meet new people.
