Is life harder for girls than boys?

I think that both boys and girls have hard things to deal with. No one can really judge who has it harder. Everyone has difficulties in life. One person's difficulty maybe be seen as a piece of cake by someone else. Yeah, girls have periods, they have to go through pregnancy and giving birth, etc. but guys don't have it easy either. First of all, they have to deal with the girl. That may not be a very good argument so besides that point guys have they're own difficulties to handle. Girls are usually much more open with each other and can cry on each other's shoulders when in need while guys on the other hand usually get made fun of if they cry about something. I can keep on going back and forth like this... saying why girls have it hard and why boys have it hard, but that wouldn't get me far.

The bottom line is we both have it hard, and each person has certain circumstances which make it diffucult, its not boys vs girls or girls vs boys. Everyone is in this together and we each have our own struggles to deal with, with the help of others around us.

Health wise, women have an edge. They live longer and are less likely to have many diseases. Female hormones lesson heart problems but after menopause, women lose that edge.

Otherwise men have advantage in the workplace and women only earn about 76% of what a man earns.

boys lifes are easier because the don't have to suffer much pain

such as: birth, period, period cramps, breastfeeding can also be painful.

they also don't do as much work as the women such as: cleaning, cooking, raising children and also taking a career.

also, good jeans are SO hard to find for a normal girl!

I'm a girl but seriously? cleaning, cooking, raising children and taking a career? Girls take more care of the children but getting a career boys do MUCH more. answer above me I don't agree.

No. How would you like to have a period every month, and go through the pain of childbirth? Let alone be expected to do most of the cooking and cleaning in many households, and the child care too? Of course you may be talking about girls who are much younger than that, but there's not a lot of difference in the difficulty of life for many girls and boys in today's society. In some countries there may be. Ok you have me on the period and childbirth thing (Women always seem to jump right to that one) but as a married male I do a large amount of the cleaning and laundry and take pride on how and when I take care of my children. (MY CHOICE) My wife and I spend equal time at work and at home. Women and/or Men have things in their lives that are easier than the other gender and other things that are harder than the other gender. Who has it easier is more of how you deal with what is on your plate. If something is not working the way you like it CHANGE IT. No matter what your gender, race, religion, sexual orientation is you have control of what you can do. ANSWER: Yes, until a certain point. When you're young, men eat right out of your hand. I wish I could be an 18 year old hottie for a day.

Depends which side you look at it from, boys will often believe girls have to easier while girls often believe boys do. Girls are often thought to have a harder life due to discrimination, periods, carrying babies however there are many things that effect boys as well that make life hard

Both genders have their problems growing up both physically and emotionally. One can mention childbirth but that is optional so it doesn't really count. I've heard guys say they rather shave every day then get a period once a month and the girls say they prefer the period. So it's all relative.
