Probably not. Women have a habit of hiding their true capabilities for long periods of time in order to cultivate relationships. They know, sometimes on an instinctual level, that displaying their intelligence or talents or other unusual traits can ruin a potential match before it gets off the ground.

You fell in love with the lady for specific reasons. She knows that and probably is trying to keep the relationship alive. If being dumb is charming to you, then she is going to "play the part" as long as you need her to. She loves you and is willing to hide what she knows in order to please you.

While every woman is different, your definition of "dumb" might merely be in certain areas that do not interest her, such as mechanics, sports, or computer gaming. There are of course, outstanding women who are interested in each area and are thereby considered "smart."

Either way, you might investigate your delightful lady and decide for yourself if she is deficient or if she is faking it. You might be surprised at how much she loves you because she is pretending to be dumb.

One final observation...are you totally sure that the deficiency doesn't come from you? One famous "dumb" woman, Gracie Allen, was incredibly intelligent...she made a very nice living playing dumb. Examine your own prejudices and see if perhaps you are being short sighted.
