My husband is always critizing me the way I cook if I cook something he doesn't like but other do about my weight and also I can not make any decision on the house before him approving it l?

Your husband sounds like my dad. I would suggest that it needs to stop. There is no man of the house thing, there shouldn't be. People should marry to both have a say in problems, and if he doesn't like the way you cook, you should tell him to go eat somewhere else. Or that other people in the world wish they could eat what he is eating. No one is perfect, im sure you try really hard ma'm to satisfy your husband. I think you need to talk to him when he is in a good mood and let him go you feel like you need more freedom.
