Kiss on the cheek = i just want to be friends

Kiss on the neck = i want you

Kiss on the lips = i love you

Kiss on the ears = i am just playing

Kiss anywhere else = lets not get carried away

Kisses have many meanings. You have to view the Kiss in context to see additional meanings.

1 - A kiss on the lips can mean the person has strong feelings for you. These feelings can be romantic OR platonic but are very important to the person doing the kissing. Some Family's will kiss each other lightly on the lips, though it is commonly called a "peck on the lips" to demonstrate just how important that other person is to them.

2 - A kiss on the cheek can be either a display of general affection, or a greeting in some cultures.

3 - A kiss on the hand is both a formal "masculine to feminine" greeting as well as a mild display of romantic affection. If the two are strangers, it is a polite greeting. If the two are well acquainted and are at a dinner when it is done, it demonstrates a romantic emotion.

4 - To blow a kiss can be a mild romantic gesture between two parties in a couple, or a playful platonic gesture between two friends. It can also be a sarcastic gesture meant to put someone in their place after you have done something you consider as "beating them."

It is very important to consider how, where, and to whom the kiss is being given to and from. Friends kissing generally means strong affection, while lovers kissing obviously represents romantic feelings, and yet family kissing lightly is a display of strong ties or affection as well.
