Yes on September 17, 1986 a Kevin Wayne Giger murdered his wife in their home. Her name was Edna Giger but went by Denise. They had two small children in the home. She had filed for divorce and was due in court that week and he had been out drinking stopped by the bar and pretty much told the bartender he was going to go home and kill his wife. He went home put four bullets in his shot gun. He missed and hit door frame when shooting at his son and shot his wife in the back of the head and then proceeded to kill himself.
