She probably can't, most 12 year-old boys are not looking for love. They wouldn't know love if it hit them in the face with a whiffle-ball bat. (Trust me, not an effective strategy). There are some 12-year old boys who are into girls, but there aren't any tricks to making them like you. You just have to get to know him, be nice, and see what happens from there.

Also, I believe you meant to say 'to like her'. A twelve year old is not ready for love for another ten years, more or less. Just a word to the wise: be careful how you use your words, you may actually believe them literally yourself.

You can get him to like him by first talking to him. Friendship is the key, and if you don't spark a conversation than you'll never know if he likes you back. Be his friend and make him feel comfortable around you and eventually he will come to like you back. If the relationship (and even a friendship) goes will, he will come to love you. A boy can and does understand love and can love you even at the age of 12 or younger, and friendship is the key.
