Demerits:

1> You lose individuality.

2> Interference.

Well but, don't you think we interfered our parents personal life when we came into this world? Didn't they lose their individuality just to raise us in a way so that we can live independently? We have become so selfish, we cannot even manage to give personal attention to the people who had sacrificed so much for us. Don't you think we have turned into thankless brats?
