Some of the disadvantages of dating older men would be having to learn to get along with ex-wives or girlfriends and their children. One may also have to deal with judgement from friends and family about the age issue.

1. He might not like doing things that you do like hang out with friends your age and other fun stuff.

2. He might have some health related problems considering his age.

3. In a few years, he is an old and tired man with lack of stamina while you are still at your prime.

4. He might try to change you to fit in and act more like his age.

5. You might want kids whereas he would rather not. And if you do start a family, he might not be around long enough to see his children grow.

6. He might prefer to stay at home while you still want to learn, explore and grow.

7. He might be a walking wounded and have some baggage.
