Yes, there are different levels of love. Although, it is more appropriate to think of love in types, rather than levels, as 'levels' generally refer to the strength and intensity of love towards another object, person, idea, animal, etc., while types refer to the actual type of relationship. Depending on the relationship and individual, the level of love can vary greatly. To make it easier, you could think of the levels of love as though they were on a number line. The higher the number, the stronger and greater the love is, regardless of the type.

All types of love can be distributed or concentrated into one (or sometimes more) of these categories; keep in mind that all types of love include a strong feeling of care, compassion, and admiration for the individual- the types of love:

-Parental Love: The love between a parent and child; Characterized by the most intense feelings of care and devotion for the child's happiness and well-being; there is a high level of attachment and affection, depending on the individual.

-Erotic Love: The love between partners; Characterized by intense feelings of passion and sexual desire. Some relationships, however, neglect emotional closeness- often focusing strictly on sexual pleasure, although it depends entirely on the individual.

-Brotherly Love: The love for your fellow human-beings; Characterized by feelings of general respect for others, courtesy, and care for other's safety.

-Spiritual Love: The love associated with religion; Generally, a love for God (or Gods for some), or other spiritual forces; dependent on the individual's religious beliefs.

-Friendly Love: The love between friends; Characterized by feelings of support and protectiveness, as well as general concern and understanding.
