What can I do to make my husband happy if I don't financially support the family?

Just because you dont have a paying job in the local economy does not mean you dont really have a job. The older traditional job of a wife was to cook, clean,and raise the children. This is as much of a job as any other and I guarantee you many women would love to be able to have it that way but with todays economy it is necessary in most cases to have two incomes to support a family. I only wish that I made enough to give my wife the gift of full time mother to our children, and what a relief it would be not to have to deal with the jobs of laundry, house cleaning, and cooking that I now have to share since both of us have to work to make ends meet. This is my opinion and maybe only mine but if he is fully supporting the family with his income the best thing that you can do is to take all the domestic worries away from him. If the roles were reversed My wife would never come home to a dirty home or wonder when dinner was to be served. Having raised children the other way I think that they would have benefited from being able to stay home through their early years and learn from their mom and not from their daycare. A stay home mom has many titles and the most important of all is Mother and Teacher.
