• Overweight wives should not always jump to conclusions that just because their husband does not want to make love it is because they are fat. Sometimes men are over-tired from work; perhaps they are not feeling well or, they may not feel like having sex believe it or not. It would be wise for the wife to learn to communicate better with her husband and ask him if he is bothered by her being overweight and is that why he has lost interest in her sexually. If it is then women can do something about it. Weight Watcher's is more about corrective eating habits than a diet and you meet many people at the meetings in the same boat you are and get lots of encouragement. Exercise is important and keeping your appearance up whether overweight or not is also important. Some overweight women can lack confidence in themselves because they know they are overweight; they feel guilty which leads them to sometimes eat more or eat foods that are not good for them and it can depress them and sometimes they find it difficult to get the drive to do something about it. Many women of all ages fight weight gain and taking the first step is a big step in losing that weight and keeping it off. The husband will have a renewed interest in her, but more importantly the wife will feel self confident; enjoy buying clothes again and find herself more energetic and more active in her every day lifestyle.
