The Bible says that we are all given a measure of faith. even the smallest amounts (the size of a Mustard Seed) can move mountains. to find your faith you need to find God!! Some people may isolate themselves briefly after being hurt and others may try doing this for long periods of time. They may need counseling to help them through whatever has happened to cause this type of behavior. Depression can cause this type of behavior too. Either way they need support of friends and family and might need some brief counseling and possibly short-term antidepressants to help them work through it. Also faith in God will help pull them through it. I lost a young family member to cancer just recently. She was originally only given three weeks to live. She entered an experimental treatment program and fought for her life for a year. When others around her would get upset over her suffering and illness she would simply say, "God is in control." I learned a great deal from this wonderful young person.
