Nothing much actually. When we see them, we do the same thing with them as we do with a friend, we either turn our head and pretend we didn't see them (for no apparent reason), or stop by and say hi to them.
As far as memories go, the good times, the bad times, the sex (if an un-abstinent relationship), and any memories of them in general are only really thought of once in every great long time when we're by ourselves just mellowing out.
