Your father's brother is your uncle. The English language makes no distinction between elder brother and younger brother; all are called uncle. There can be a distinction made between siblings of each parent, however. A 'paternal' uncle would be your father's brother, while a 'maternal' uncle would be your mother's brother. The same distinction can be made with aunts, grandparents, and other relatives.
