What do you do if a boy askes you out?

well there are different ways to tell a boy this some can be quite mean but this is how i told a boy i did not want to go out with him- i sat him down and said that he was really nice i like you but do not love you I'm sorry but i would love to be your friend and maybe another time when I'm not in a relationship already.

he just said oh OK. yes i would love to be friends al least i still get to see you alot.

so no one was hurt or upset during this and we became friends good friends and now as we spent so much time together we are now boyfriend and girlfriend and have a really good relationship. :) hope this helped.

You should think of all the characteristics of the boy. Think of his personality, how he does in school, who his friends are, etc. Think of these because, for example, if he is nice, does well in school, and hangs out with a good group, then he could be the ideal boyfriend. There is also the alternitive. If he is rude, doesn't have good grades, and hangs out with vandals, then he could get you into serious trouble when it comes to introducing him to your parents. If you pick the vandal as your boyfriend, he probably will influence you into doing drugs, vandalizing, and just becoming a bad person. So, think of these things, but don't take too long, because some girls get asked out and they take too long. By the time the girl has thought these things over, the boy has already lost interest in the girl because he thinks that she is just not interested in him and just doesn't know how to tell him that. So, again, think about the characteristics of this boy, like his personality, his grades in school, and who is friends are. Is he nice? Does he have good grades? Are his friends ideal for success? If I am describing the boy who asked you out, then this is the ideal boyfriend for you. If I am not describing the boy, then I would plan on telling him that he is just not the right boy for you.

BE POLITE!!! Most guys are kind of scared when they ask you out because they usually really like you! Just say something like, "Sorry, I can't go out. Maybe some other time." It will be really embarressing and the guy will be upset (most likely). If you are aloud to go out and don't want to lie, say something like, "Actually, I already have someone else and it might be a little rude if I went out with you instead of him. I'm sorry! Maybe some other time!" If you don't like either of these, just be polite to the guy. 1. Just flat out say "No thank you."

2. Go on the date and endure it. Avoid the guy if he thinks the date goes well.

3. Lie and say you're busy, or call on the night of the date and say you're sick. This will probably work out best, because no one is really hurt.

4.Don't do anything. Pretend he didn't ask you and, if he asks, shrug and pretend you have something to do at that precise moment.
