What do you do if your boyfriend is never around you?

i'd like to say 'forget about him' but then that's not a realistic option a) because you quite like/ love him; with the likelihood being that you like him all the more because he's so unavailable and b) because the majority of guys think so differently to women in terms of logic and practical issues that its not that they don't want to see you, its just that they are programmed not to have women as their top priority; wheras women often have men as there ultimate and main goal.

i suggest firstly by trying to develop your own feelings so that you don't need him so much. gradually as you get older and spend longer in the relationship you will naturally become each others best friend and want to spend the majority of your time together.

another way of seeing immediate benefits is to make him jealous. boys who don't have enough time to see you are generally ambitious, selfish, and a little egotistical. by making them jealous or thinking that they might lose you to some other guy works as they don't like losing out to someone else.

this can have its downfalls, as the reationship can spiral into one big game of possession and defeat.

Unless there are extenuating circumstances (illness/death in the family, financial crisis, etc.), everyone can find time to do the things that are important to us. In reference to a LDR, time spent together is particularly essential to the survival of the relationship. You didn't say whether you meant actual physical time together or time talking via skype, for ex. If he has no time to see you in person and no plan for doing so, there's not enough there to keep your relationship going. If he has no time for a skype visit, I'm afraid you don't really have a relationship at all.
