Do you honor them? Even though you may not like some of the things that they say or do, you should always respect them. I believe that you should discuss this with your parents and start proving to them that you can be trustworthy in everything. More than likely, your parents want to be your friends, and want to help you through your good times and your bad. Don't distance yourself from them. Just talk to them. OK? I have a 32 year old son and a 27 year old daughter, who I love more than my life. We discuss things, and sometimes I don't go along with everything they say, but we always work things out. I have a son who I lost when he was 11 years old. He would be 20 years old now. If I could just talk to him now... don't distance yourself.

Well, you're going to have to get some facts. Take photos of the situation or if its after the situation, try and redo it so if it was a fight and you got blammed, try and start it again and film it. you can't deny evidence. if not then see if any witness' were around and get them to back you up. always works! if none of thoses then im very sorry but youll have to make a believeable performance and goodluck!

Trust that has been broken, whether between a child/parent, a couple or friends can take a long time to come back. It requires an honest effort on the part of the person who broke the trust to change their behaviour and never repeat their mistake. It really depends on what you did to lose your parent's trust in you. Did you lie to them? Did you do something behind their back, like drugs or something else, that you know they don't want you to do? Did you damage their property, such as a car or their home? Did you steal from them or someone else? You KNOW that all of these things are wrong. The first thing you must do is acknowledge what you did to break the trust. You must discuss this openly with your parents. You must ask their forgivenes, and promise that you will try not to ever let them down again. You are not perfect, but you must believe in yourself enough to truly trust that you will not repeat your mistake. Ask for their love and understanding, but only if you really mean it! Time will tell....that's what it takes. Time to heal the broken heart, the broken trust, and then one day, when you have shown you can be trustworthy again, the trust your aprents once had in you will return. It will not happen overnight...it takes time. Be patient and understand that earning one's trust is a very valuable human experience. Once you have it again, don't EVER break it. Hope this helps.

The best way is to make a point of always being honest with them. not just when it suits you. that can be a difficult thing to achieve if you have been less then honest in the past. you see often parents will let you get away with being untruthful because they cant prove you are lying. They feel that it would be unjust to punish you and aways hope you will straighten yourself out). The big problem with this however is that it backfires on you when it really matters to you.

Breaking that almighty bond of trust is a hard one to ever get back. It could take months to even years depending on what you did. Once a person cheats on their mate, lies in any way, that trust is gone, and, in most cases it's tough to get your mate to ever trust you again. Only time of really trying on your part will help heal her wounds. If she is willing to at least forgive you that's a start, but if she's told you she doesn't want anything to do with you, then consider this a valuable lesson in life and learn from it.
