I'm a guy and I will tell you that in school we are really weird when it comes to girls. We love girls and want you to be our girlfriends but you scare the heck out of us. Talking to you is one of the hardest things for guys because we're afraid we won't know what to say and you'll laugh at us or turn us down. And that will make us look uncool which is the worst thing in the world for a guy. If you know this guy likes you and he's someone you're interested in try making an effort to get to know him. He probably hasn't approached you yet because he's a little scared of you. I had the same problem when i was in 8th grade and never did talk to a girl i really liked. I would have loved it if she'd talked to me. Find a way to get around him and start a conversation with him. Don't be discouraged if he doesn't say that much at first because you will be blowing his mind. You may have to chase him a little bit and try this a few times but once he gets to know you and feels comfortable around you he'll start following you.
