- The only reason a guy would ask out the friend or the girl he broke up with is to make them jealous already knows that the girls, besties maybe, talk about there boyfriends 24/7. He is trying to make her miss out on something she doesn't want, and then jealousy comes in. Now, he may liked you before he went with yo friend, but she asked u out before the other did.
