He's jealous and he's using the classic date someone else to get a person jealous method
Well just because you hear him and his friends talking doesn't mean that they're talking about that they could be talking about something way off from that. Like i thought that about someone and turns out they were talking about getting a Christmas present for one of his family members and i felt like a complete dork because i thought that was actually what he was talking about but if they where talking about that they probably do like them. But that would just be my advice=Hope This Helps==Kitcat0419=

There is technically no difference, but I would use them slightly differently. The first would be that one should not start talking, the second would be the thought that someone talking should not be. The doctor said she should not talk. The terrible things she said made him think she should not be talking.

The idiom "ears must be burning" is believed to originate from the superstition that if someone's ears are burning, it means someone is talking about them. This belief dates back to ancient Rome and Greece, where it was thought that the sensation of burning ears indicated that someone was gossiping about you.
Anyone who could do something amazing or different was thought to be a witch. For example; if you had a kettle that boiled water automatically, they would probably think you was performing witchcraft.
It depends what kind of talking. Generally, if you are aware these are your own thoughts (i.e. you don't have a thought disorder and think someone is planting them in your head), you do not have a mental illness. This is actually quite normal, and some people even talk to themselves out loud.
What ice are we talking about here
Of course not, now they may not want to talk about it but it isn't bad to ask. Well people do not usually want to make this a talking subject, they like to keep it private. This maybe why they thought it a bit perverted that someone has asked this about them.
