What do you do when your family hates you?

Unfortunately you can't pick your family but family is all you have when push comes to shove.I dont know what your history is ,maybe you have a right to hate your family but if its only a petty thing try to make things right.All families need a hero,someone to step up and do the right thing.Life is short I have firsthand experience with bad choices ,family and death.Step back and look at your situation.Maybe you need to talk to a professional to help you or maybe someone you trust.

While I agree that it is a good if you can get along with family, the truth is that sometimes a person's family is too toxic to continue to associate with. IT'S A MYTH THAT ALL FAMILIES ARE GOOD. In my job, I see many families that I wouldn't wish on someone. Really horrible people that only care about using others, conning others out of money, physically abusive, criminals etc. If you have a family like that, you have to distance yourself. It's a myth that everyone can turn to their family in times of trouble. Sometimes, their family IS their trouble and they are better off taking their chances alone instead of allowing negative, destructive people invade their life. Sometimes healing means moving on.

i know how it is but i have no idea wat to do.i get really sad and insulted but dont have the guts to speak up, so SPEAK UP AND LIVE YOUR LIFE.

Most people I know - including myself! - have gone through stages where we feel like we hate our family. Maybe you have a good reason to be that angry with them; maybe you don't. But in either case, those feelings will probably subside and you will find that your family members are actually the most valuable people in your life! Remember that you probably aren't the easiest person in the world to live with, either; yet they put up with you! Spend a little time away from them, if you need to. And try being kind to them. Sometimes, when you force yourself to behave as though you loved someone, you end up actually learning to love them.

Firstly cool your self down by taking deep breaths or counting up to 10.Secondly get a ball that you don't mind writing on and whenever you get angry ,take the stress out on the ball. Finally face your parents when you are completely cool go into the same room as them. You don't have to say anything. But soon you will and you won't be so angry or depressed. or you go up to them and ask why do you hate me then if they tell you why then you can stop doing that and they might like you again

There must be a particular reason why you hate your parents - they must have done something wrong for you to really hate them.

If you don't want to hate your parents, but you do, maybe you can talk to your parents about whatever it is they are doing wrong.

If your 18 or older, move out. If you're younger then 18, you're screwed. But don't consider suicide! People still love you.

go to hell you're probably misbehaved a lot everyday so they hate you. you don't respect them like they are your parents you act like a bit....ch so probably they hate you to so you hate them back if you kept this up you will be screwed get a grip and behave and do what you got to do never mind your parents what they do just do what you gotta do to keep your mind off them

they dont hate you they dont like how you are with your life what ever happened you cant change that but you can try and do things for them but dont if they dont want to talk to you and refuse your company give up you dont need a family that dont want you walk out you must have friends to go to and if it doesnt work sit down and talk to them one at a time asking each one whats wrong they will probably say they love you which is good but if not dont listen you cant help it im sorry.

Family can get annoying at times but one thing I always remember is that family is forever. But, that does not solve the problem.

Depending on how old you are, if you can drive, and your location, you can go to a ton of places. It really doesn't matter where, as long as your family isn't there.

if you hate your self tell someone about it and or maybe tell a friend and see if they can help you make your life feel better or maybe tell your mom and dad about it......
