You should ask her why she feels awkward around you, & your girlfriend should NEVER feel awkward but always comfortable with you. <<<<<who ever wrote this has no life. wanker. don't listen to this. the person who wrote this is mean. bagging on people who are worried instead of helping.

first you should figure out why she feels awkward when she is around you. maybe she doesn't and you are just worrying. if you ask her she could get mad at you. so if you really want to know maybe ask her nice like this. "hi (her name) " talk about something normal. if she starts to look like she feels awkward the say.. " are you OK? im sorry if i said something wrong. i just want you to feel comfortable around me." in that statement you should get an answer but you didn't even have to ask. and again maybe she doesn't feel awkward. maybe shes just shy. try to warm up to her. hope this helps.
