Well, there are a couple of things. One you could call him up and tell him what a "rat" he is and that he broke your heart. I once called a fellow a "dirty little toad" and it made me feel so much better. OR you could forget him, go on, and become really happy to be without him. I have done that too. Think of a broken heart as a learning experience and that you take this to learn from it so it won't happen again. Life is full of ups and downs and I am not telling you that you will never have a broken heart again, but each time it happens turn it into something to make you stronger and learn from it. In a recent book I read the author wrote " A heart can be broken only once. The rest is just scratches." I think he should have added "dents" in there too because we do get dents.
