Cunny is one of many words used in olde England times to refer to a rabbit. It was also used to refer to a woman's vagina. Since the word relates to both the vagina and a rabbit there are many olde English jokes that take advantage of the word play. Some examples are a passerby who smells a delicious cunny or asking a pretty young girl for a piece of her delicious cunny. The English were very classist and owning a cunny purse (a purse made from rabbit hide) meant you were the lowest cast of peasant because you were too poor for anything of better quality.

Can you guess the word that this later evolved in to?

Other words used are Cony, Coney, Coni, Conis and Connie. Derived from the Latian word Cuniculus which is a word used to refer to a burrow or underground passage.
