He means that it is better to have been in love at some point, as it is a great powerful feeling, rather than never being in love, and had that powerful feeling in your life. As every experience in life, you learn from it, and being in love is a learning experience. Even if it does not end the way you wanted or planned, at least it will excel your life experiences, and teach you in the future.
It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all
Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem In Memoriam:27, 1850
its better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all
It si part of a famous poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson called In Memoriam:27And the line actually is: Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all
i think it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. Because at least you had some experience and made mistakes that you can learn from it. Normally, after losing love, you'll be depressed, but then once you're over the depression you will know how to make you're mistakes and you're experiences help you in the future. I mean, being never loved, really means that you'll never know really, what IS the real world and really won't help you be more insightful and understanding about things. I think having loved and lost is better - if i can even use that word. You likely have warm memories. If youd never loved youd feel an intense emptyness since a young age.
It was written in 1850 by Alfred Lord Tennyson in his poem "In Memoriam:27" I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.
Definately lost. I imagine death to be painful and I would cry all night. But, it is better to love and lose than to have never loved at all.
The correct line is 'tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all' by Alfred Lord Tennyson, the poem is called In Memoriam and dated 1850...as follows I hold it true, what'er befall, / I feel it, when I sorrow most, / 'tis better to have loved and lost, / than never to have loved at all.
It is always better to be loved and won, hahahaha, ofcourse, however, I think that we grow stronger from an experience like... Also on chooses more carefully the next time, hahahahaha. No right or wrong answer with this one.
