What does it mean when a girl avoids your questions I was told she fancied me by a reliable source and i asked her about it and she avoids the question but is fine talking about anything else?

Seems like a touchy subject for her, perhaps she does. I would say to try and find ways to subtely ask if she likes you. I know if i liked a guy and he asked me if i liked him, i would avoid the question, but that's just me.
