It's well known that men have a higher sex drive than women (until death do ye part.) It's about sex. There could be several reasons for the way he is acting. He could respect you enough not to force the issue of sex on you, but has to fill his needs so he chooses one night stands. If you are withholding sex (and you should until there is some type of commitment) then he will run off to other girls, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love you. However, this only shows how immature he is and that he has no self control and he has not thought about sexually transmitted diseases that he could pick up and pass onto you. He may also not be able to commit to one person and need an array of girls around him constantly which is another sign he is immature. Be smart and tell him to get going the next time he comes back to you. This will either make him realize he can't have you without some sort of commitment and he may change, but there is a high risk he may also cheat on you. You have to decide if you want to put up with this bizarre behavior and waste your time and energy.
