It really depends on what type of strange.....
If he is strange like when he talks to you and he does some un-smooth things like mumur and not relating to his speech, and doing hand movements when he talks and falling down, drooling that is all the signs that he is madly in love with you... It is just un-comfortable for him to talk to you.
The other type of strange is that he opens his eyes wide at you and just stares at you. This still could mean hes in love with you. Also, you should tell a parent if things start to turn out creepy.
