Unfortunately it probably means he has something else or someone else getting his attention he has lost interest for some reason -sorry :(

* I think you need to take into consideration the boy's age. It could be loss of interest, but it could also be they gave up on wooing you, their parents are getting a divorce, they are mad at you, there is something stressful going on in their life, etc etc. I would try to ask them if this person was a friend. If it was someone you were dating, well, then they probably want to break up and the easiest way to do that (but not the best) is make the other person break up with you by ignoring them.
