This question is pretty simple if you think about it. Your guy friend clearly talks loud to his own friends because he has a good time with his friends in his social life.

However, you you're (the girl) around him and he's in a complete different mode, that means that he cars more about you than his social life and his friends. He wants to listen to you on what you have to say. He clearly cares about you.

If he was talkative in front of you too then that just means that he doesn't care about you either, and that he just wants people to listen to him.
