A while ago, a popular online comic came up with a visual explanation. It's shows a Baseball field and denotes what areas mean what actions. To date, it is the most concise explanation I have seen.
The generally accepted explanation is that 1st base is kissing (sometimes French). 2nd base is fondling/groping above the waist or over clothing. 3rd base is fondling below
Because it's a rubber plate and not cushioned like the rest of the bases.
so you can push off when stealing a base
In a fielding game like baseball or softball, the base opposite home plate is third base. Home plate is at one corner of the diamond, while third base is located directly across from it, completing the triangular layout of the bases.
For a standard softball field, with 60 ft. bases, the distance from the apex (point) of home plate to the middle of 2nd base is 84 feet, 10-1/4 inches.
exactly like thatThe word is spelled exactly. Exact is the base word and "-ly" is the suffix.
base taste bitter
There are many common ones. Things like drain cleaner are strong bases; a solution of baking soda is a weak base. Vinegar, orange juice and tomato juice are all acids.
It doesn't go by base-for force plays, you only have to touch the base. You tag the player on a steal, or when nobody is behind the player.
A refrigerator is neutral, neither acid nor base. It does not have a pH level like acids or bases.
The baseball playing field (or diamond) is shaped like a diamond. There are three bases (first, second, and third) are on the corners away from home plate. The distance between these bases (on the basepath or distance straight from first base to second base, or second base to third base, etc.) is 90 feet in Major League baseball. In Little League, the distance in 60 feet.
1st base is holding hands and kissing 2nd base is making out 3rd base is oral 4th base is sex
Bases like calcium carbonate are used to relieve heartburn.
