That's a very tricky question. Freedom..humph? In marriage...writing this is weird because, marriage comes with conditions. Not to say you are a trapped animal it's just that the freedom you once had you will no longer be able to entertain. That is why it's important to take into consideration who you marry. The person should always respect you and never should make you feel guilty or obligated to be in a situation you don't want to be in. You have the right to still live but you live with someone else, and you don't have the luxury of doing whatever makes you happy. Now you have too make sure that other person is happy.
My conclusion, there is no freedom in marriage.
"Arranged" marriages don't allow freedom of choice on who to marry, but a love marriage does.
No, the two issues are mostly unrelated. Marriage is a social contract; it is not considered "freedom of speech." Freedom of speech involves the seeking, receiving or imparting of information or ideas.
