Life is the universes way of experiencing itself. It is an illusion of the narrow vision of the experiencer who like a hair on a dog cannot see that it is really a part of the greater dog. It is limited by its small perspective "I am not a dog!! you are crazyiight...." as we say "I am not the universe!! You are crazy I AM homiiside."
