We do not ever really lose people (unless they die, of course), they choose to walk away. Be honest with your guy and tell him how you feel. If he still wants to break up with you, show him he just might have made a mistake by being grown-up enough to show him you respect his choices, and leave him alone. If you were meant to be together, there is a very real chance he will find this attractive, and attraction is where all good, solid relationships begin. If you were not meant to be a couple, you will still end up with his respect, and that is a very wonderful thing between any two people. This is a tricky one, because when a relationship ends, one or both of the people were probably really sad, and maybe even heartbroken. It can also be different depending on whether you broke up with him, or if he broke up with you. If you broke up with him, explain to him that you have realized it was a mistake, you're sorry for what you put him through and you would like to give the relationship a second chance. If he broke up with you, tell him you miss him and you want to know if he would consider giving it a second go. It will be very different if the reason you broke up was cheating, because that obviously means the whole trust thing is broken. If he cheated on you, you really need to think - is getting back together with him worth the pain he out me through? Do you trust him not to do it again? If you think he might do it again, do yourself a favour and don't go after him. It's never worth being cheated on. If you honestly believe that he won't do it again, explain to him you want to try again. If you cheated on him, it might be harder because he may not trust you anymore. In that situation, there isn't much you can do except to promise him (and mean it!) that you are really sorry, you won't ever cheat again, and you feel very strongly for him.
