Answer

The stereotype of a gentleman is the type of guy that opens doors for a woman, pulls out a seat for her, doesn't try to kiss her on the first date. He doesn't sleep with you and then go telling everyone about it.

Those are examples, but my idea of a gentleman is kind hearted and genuine. there aren't many men that still practice chivalry, but most that do are not true to what they practice. After they have impressed you, they let that part of them go. A true gentleman keeps his values with him no matter what.

Answer

The first description falls a little short and may be why some men may be able to fake it for a while if you think that's all there is to a gentleman.

A 'Gentleman' is someone who is considerate of others' feelings no matter who they are, young or old, male or female, rich or poor. A gentleman never uses bad language, gossips, or is derogatory of others.
