I'd say this type of behavior would typically raise concern after the age of 6, at which time a child should be able to independently sleep on their own through the night (with the exception of bad dreams and thunderstorms).
I don't think there is a legal age for this, but to prevent any concern from outside parties of the possibility of any types of abuse, I would try to stay within these guidelines. The child needs to learn independence, and shouldn't sleep in the parents bed for an unnecessary amount of time.
There is not a set legal age a father has to stop sleeping in his daughters bed in England. This should not take place much longer than a few years of age.
