I have two young Granddaughts who seem to alter their hair style daily. One day a pony tail, the next a pony tail that appears on one side of their head (sorry, I don't know the technical term). Or even two smaller pony tails, one on each side of their heads with or without ribbons (very confusing for Grandad when I have to collect them from school!). On another day, all the hair is brushed to one side, often almost covering an eye! But, at a guess, it is a (centrally placed) pony tail, especially if the girl is playing in a physical sport.
