The real answer to that question is that origionally a while back only men had bachelor parties and all of his grooms men would take him out the night before his wedding to get him completely intoxicated and to get him together with another woman so that he would miss his wedding day. Now today women got smarter and they now also have a bachelorette party but either of them should be the night before the wedding because you would just feel and look horrible and its just to go out with all of your girls/guys to have a good time.
